Grove Bowl 2013

Last weeked was Red/Blue Weekend in Oxford which meant LOTS of Rebel sports and fun things to do!  On Saturday, we got up bright and early and headed to The Grove to play, see the men's basketball team (SEC CHAMPS!) and check out the scene.  Stafford had a great time running around and banging on the trash cans...it's the little, things...right?!  We headed to lunch at Phillip's then off to Vaught Hemingway to check out the Rebels in their spring scrimmage.  I'm just going to go ahead and be thankful that we didn't buy our football season tickets this year because Stafford was having NONE of sitting and watching.  Up and down the rows he wanted to go...banging on the bleachers and throwing pom poms.  It may be a while before he figures out the main event is on the field...not in the bleachers!  We had a tired little guy SO we missed the afternoon baseball game but we were able to watch it on tv and we did get in a fabulous dinner at Old Taylor!  Last weekend definitely put me in the mood for football...only 133 (i think!) more days!!
