A Best Friend's Wedding

A few weekends ago, one of my childhood besties, Chris, got married at Lake Burton.  If you've never been to Lake Burton in North Georgia, you seriously must go.  It was BEAUTIFUL! It's a man-made lake nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and pretty easy to get to.  I flew into Atlanta and spent some good QT with AJ & Frank before we set off on our two hour drive to the lake.

The rehearsal dinner and wedding were a blast!  For Saturday, our crew rented a pontoon boat and cruised around the lake all day.  It was so much fun!!  It's always fun to catch up with Dyersburg friends and make new ones! Congratulations Bevin & Chris!! So happy that you're now Mr. & Mrs.!

Happy Birthday Reedy!!

Happy Happy Happy Birthday to my precious husband!  I love this day not only because my love was born BUT also because it is our engagement anniversary!  Seven years ago, today, Reed asked me to marry him.  It was (and still is) one of the happiest, best days of my life!  So...happy 33rd birthday AND happy 7th engagement anniversary! :)  I love you!

SUPER REGIONAL CHAMPS!!!

And, OMAHA here we come! Oh my goodness.  So much excitement.  Can't even handle it.  Monday night, the Rebs pulled off a beautiful win over LA-Lafayette to advance to the College World Series for the first time in 42 years.  IT.  WAS.  GLORIOUS.

REGIONAL CHAMPS!!!

I'm pretty sure last weekend in Oxford was one of the best weekends in Oxford that I've had in a long time.  I mean, it just doesn't get any better than a weekend at Swayze.  I love football and I love the Grove but I'm a baseball girl, always have been and always will be.  Ole Miss was hosting a NCAA Regional and of course, we had to go and cheer on our Rebs.  It is, afterall, the Road to Omaha.  GO REBS!!!
