Last weekend, the Stacy fam headed north to Dyersburg for a weekend in Tennessee. We had a purpose for going but we couldn't let my dad in on the why so I made up some story that he probably didn't buy at all but being the good sport that he was, he never let on!
Yesterday, the Dyer County Bar Association sponsored a portrait unveiling (of dad) to celebrate over 20 years on the bench. The event was a surprise for him and I think he was truly humbled to see his family, friends and co-workers there to celebrate with him. It was such a fun morning and it was great to see how much others genuinely appreciated my dad. He's a great man and we are so very proud of him and all that he has accomplished in his judicial career.
